After graduating with a First Class degree in English Literature & Language at UCL, Richard completed an M.Phil in American Literature at the University of Cambridge. Post university, Richard has spent over 10 years working as a private tutor, teaching both secondary and mature students.

Over the past 3 years, Richard has overseen the rise of Accolade Press: a boutique academic publishing house with over 40 study guides on the market. Many of these books have been authored or co-written by academics from the UK's leading universities.
